Creative Technology created a masterpiece when they developed the Zen MicroPhoto, the “TopTenREVIEWS Silver Award” winning mini mp3 player. This gadget not only looks good, but also feels good with an ergonomically correct design.
Store up to eight gigabytes of your favorite songs and pictures. Then view your photos on the "amazingly vivid" 1.5-inch (diagonally) OLED screen. The Zen matches the #1 player in most areas; however, the iAudio 6 outperforms the Zen in battery life and video display.
Features:
The MicroPhoto has many features that are tough to match. Just some of these features include a contacts/calendar/tasks program that will organize your contacts and your time. The organizer works with Microsoft Outlook so you'll never miss another important event.
The player also incorporates customizable display backgrounds, an external hard drive function, a radio tuner, picture viewer and recording line-in/voice. You can save your favorite radio program or a voice message.
Music Formats:
The MicroPhoto doesn't support as many file types as some of the other players; it does support mp3, wma and wav files. This is fine for most people, but if you like other music file types, look into a different player.
Battery Life:
The Zen MicroPhoto has a battery life of 15 hours, which should be adequate for most people. You can also purchase additional batteries if you are a heavy traveler.
Physical Features:
Creative's Zen MicroPhoto is similar in size to the iPod Mini—just slightly thicker and heavier. It fits nice in your hand, pocket or bag. Quickly navigate your tunes or photographs with the Vertical Touch Pad—patented by Creative Technologies.
This stylish player comes in a number of colors and you can choose from eight different backlight colors including fire, jungle, pastel, earth and vibrant. You'll find even more colors on the crystal clear OLED screen.
Help/Support:
Creative provides excellent customer support through email or phone. They respond quickly to customer questions. For more common questions, check out the online help including FAQ, forums and other help documentation.
Summary:
The MicroPhoto is a nice looking, and excellent sounding music player. You can also show your pictures to friends with the stunning display. If you're looking for something that also supports movies, check out the #1 product.
